Roberta Williams is presented with a "thank you" plaque from president Maggie Haag at ABLE's 25th anniversary banquet at the Golden Nugget Hotel (center). Roberta (in white dress) has hosted three ABLE meetings at UNLV (1985, 1992, 2003). After the banquet we took in The Fremont Street Experience, a five-block long canopy that displays dazzling light shows overhead (below right).

Photo by Robert Kosinski   John Bohmfalk, Kathy Nolan, Ruthanne Pitkin, and Tom Fogle "suited up" for a performance of the Blueman Group. There is such a danger of splashing paint in this performance that the first seven rows have to wear ponchos. They didn't get splashed, but they did nearly get buried in the tons of white crepe paper that is passed down over the audience.
