ABLE Institutional Membership
According to our by-laws, revision from 26 September 2011:
2.1.6.1 – Institutional membership is available to any educational institution interested in the advancement of biological education at a yearly rate to be set by the Board of Directors. Institutional membership will entitle the employees and students of a given institution, at a single campus, full access to the ABLE Proceedings on-line content and member registration fees for annual meetings. Member voting rights and membership directory access will only be extended to the faculty, students and staff of Institutional Members if they individually become members in another of the defined categories.
Here are the procedures to gain institutional membership:
- Send an email to the ABLE Membership Chair at memberships@ableweb.org indicating your interest in an institutional membership along with a spreadsheet with the names and email addresses of faculty and staff to be included in the institutional membership. Additional individuals can be added later by contacting the Membership Chair.
- Pay for institutional membership by going to www.paypal.com and clicking the Send Money link. Enter $200 for the amount and click Buying Something. For the to: email address, enter treasurer@ableweb.org. Continue to follow the directions to pay by credit card.
- Once confirmation of payment has been received, members will be contacted with their account information. Please allow at least 48 hours after receipt of payment for account information to be sent.
Membership runs from July 1st of the current year to June 30th
of the following year. The membership term will start immediately
with payment of the fee and will end the following June 30th.
