Personal Statement

I have gained tremendously from my participation in ABLE, first as a member, then as a meeting attendee, and later as a workshop presenter and participant in the recent TA training workshops. As a faculty member at a large research institution, I, like many of you, am one of the few members of my department that is primarily interested in teaching. Thus, you, the members of ABLE are my true intellectual peer group since we share our scholarly interest in Biology Education. I would look forward to increased growth in our relationship via my participation on the ABLE Board as a Member-at-Large.
