Whitewater Rafting on the Chattooga River
Photos by Maggie Haag

The tumultuous beauty of the Chattooga River was introduced to moviegoers in the film Deliverance.
The Chattooga is a National Wild and Scenic River and one of the top 10 rivers in the U.S. for whitewater rafting.
On the post-conference field trip we rafted class II, III and IV rapids, ending with the infamous Bull Sluice (top and bottom).
