ABLE-bodied Employees

Don't forget to let your ABLE-peers know about biology and biology-related jobs you come across or that your institution is looking to hire for! Visit our job page to view them, or email Mark Walvoord with details to post one.

News from NSDL Available

As BEN (BiosciEdNet) partners, ABLE occasionally receives news and notes from the National Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Education Digital Library (NSDL) Program. Read their newsletter, the Whiteboard Report, or click on Back Issues to find a wealth of other news.

Wanted: Your ABLE Conference Experiences

Have you ever applied what you learned at an ABLE conference to your own teaching? If you did, how did it go?

If you have contact me with a write up about whether it worked or not. Did you make changes to the lab? Are you still using it now? Why or why not?

All submissions are welcome at anytime, in addition to your experiences at ABLE conferences and how you have used the ABLE labs in your own labs. Do you have ideas for articles, even if you don't have time to write one yourself?

If you want to submit an article or news item, please email bstegenga@bio.unc.edu. If you are submitting an article, please include information about yourself and a digital photograph (if possible) to include with the article. Photos of students or equipment "in action" are, of course, also always welcome.
