The Department of Biology at Emory University invites applications for a full-time, teaching-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Teaching Professor starting in the Fall of 2027 semester.  

We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in the biological sciences with a strong commitment to pedagogy and a specific interest in teaching and advising undergraduates. In unusual and exceptional circumstances, those with a terminal degree in other STEM related fields will be considered. Applicants having prior experience with evidence-based teaching practices are encouraged to apply; postdoctoral experience is preferred.?Salary is competitive and commensurate with rank. We particularly welcome applicants qualified to teach lecture-based courses in biochemistry or developmental biology and/or courses with labs in human anatomy & physiology, comparative vertebrate anatomy, and microbiology. The appointee will join a cohesive group of tenure-track (25) and teaching-track (14) faculty working collaboratively in the teaching, research, and service missions of Emory University. Teaching Track Faculty are on long-term contracts and have full faculty governance rights and responsibilities and a path to promotion from Assistant to the ranks of Associate and Full Teaching Professor. The appointee will participate in faculty governance of the department and university and undergraduate student mentoring.
