Monday June 2, 2008

  • Early Registration for Board Members, 4-6pm Erindale Hall
  • Optional guided tour of campus: meet at Erindale Hall front entrance at 5pm

Tuesday June 3, 2008

  • Conference Registration – Erindale Hall, 9 am-6 pm
  • Optional  guided tour of UTM campus (focus on our woods, water, and wildlife): 10 am,  2 pm, and 4 pm
  • Optional Field Trip: get a taste of our (downtown) St. George Campus of U of T; bus leaves North Building traffic circle 12:30 pm; returns 4:30 pm (cost: see registration form)
  • Welcome Reception at Lislehurst (Principal Road): 6-8 pm

Wednesday June 4, 2008

  • New Members Breakfast: Faculty Club, 7-8 am
  • Breakfast for other ABLE attendees: Faculty Club 7-8 am
  • Conference Registration: South Building, 8am- 9am  1-2pm  4:30-5:30 pm
  • Major Workshops – 8:30-11:30am
  • Lunch: 11:30 am – 12:00 pm pick up boxes lunch outside Kaneff 137 (eat in courtyard weather permitting)
  • ABLE Business Meeting 12-1 pm (KN137); All conference participants are urged to attend
  • Major Workshops – 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Evening Event: Mixer sponsored by Hayden-McNeil

Thursday June 5, 2008

  • Breakfast for all: Faculty Club 7-8 am
  • Major Workshops: 8:30-11:30 am
  • Lunch: 12:00 – 1:00 pm, Making connections with others in your ‘region’  BBQ at the Student Centre Pub
  • Major Workshops: 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Evening: optional trip to downtown Toronto for dinner

Friday June 6, 2008

  • Breakfast for all: Faculty Club 7-8 am
  • Mini Workshops concurrent sessions:
    • 8:30 – 9:15 am
    • 9:30 – 10:15 am
  • Poster Session: 10:45 – 11:45 am, Fourth Floor South Building
  • Lunch: 12:00 – 1:00 pm; Making connections with others in your subject area Spigel Hall
  • Mini Workshops concurrent sessions:
    • III 1:30 – 2:15 pm
    • IV 2:30 – 3:15 pm
  • Banquet: Royal Ambassador, bus leaves North Building parking lot at 4:45 pm sharp and will return by 10 pm (cost: see registration form)

Saturday June 7, 2008

  • Optional field trips to Toronto or Niagara Falls region (cost: see registration form)
