By Air
The Eugene Airport (www.eugene-or.gov/index.aspx?nid=1718) is serviced by Alaska Airlines, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines and United Airlines. Sometimes travellers can save money by flying to Portland (www.pdx.com) and then driving to Eugene. 

Ground transportation from the airport to the UO
Several taxi companies provide rides to Eugene from a taxi stand at the airport. Also, the OmniShuttle (1-800-741-5097 for long distance or 541-461-7959 if you are in the Eugene/Springfield area) provides rides to the UO for, currently, $23.50.

By Rail
Amtrak (www.Amtrak.com) trains arrive in Eugene daily from the north and south.

By Land
Greyhound Bus Lines (www.Greyhound.com) has a terminal in Eugene with busses arriving daily from the North, South and East. The bus terminal is a 1.2 mile walk from the campus.

Eugene is located on I-5, which runs North and South from the Canadian border to the border with Mexico. From Central Oregon, Eugene can be reached by both Highways 126E and 58. 

Weather
Summer visitors can expect warm and mostly dry weather. However, it is best to be prepared for the occasional rain shower that can come at any time during the month of June.
