We are pleased to announce the 48th Annual meeting for the Association for Biology Laboratory Education will be held at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia from June 22-26, 2027!
Founded in 1818, Dalhousie is the largest university in the Maritimes, with an enrolment of ~21,000 students. Dalhousie’s main campuses are located in the heart of Halifax, the capitol city of Nova Scotia. With a population of ~450,000 people, Halifax is the largest city in the Atlantic Canada. As a port city, Halifax is steeped in history, and is the economic and entertainment center of the Maritimes.
The Department of Biology is housed in the Life Sciences Center (LSC) on the Studley campus. This is the expected conference hub for major and mini workshops, sponsor displays, and refreshment breaks.
