On-campus housing was not available for Saturday night.  Those who participated in a Saturday excursion could store their bags at Tata Hall during the day on Saturday.

Rooms were available at the Residence Inn for Saturday night at the conference rate.

San Diego Zoo at Balboa Park

Included transportation to the zoo from UCSD and zoo admission. During this busy time for parking and long lines, our group was dropped off and escorted directly into the Zoo. Participants did not need to wait in the often lengthy ticket lines. This world famous zoo is a leader in conservation genetics and breeding programs for rare animals, including the first documented example of avian parthenogenesis. It has many expansive habitats that allow you to observe the animals interact with each other in family groups. Participants could also enjoy the Skyfari with views of Balboa Park and the city.
